Digital Innovation and Energy Transition: i-EM at the AGICI Renewables Conference

Oct 20, 2025

Milan, October 10, 2025 – Digital innovation took center stage at AGICI’s Renewables Observatory conference, The Cost of Not Embracing Renewables: Overcoming Challenges for a Prosperous Future.”
Ciro Lanzetta, CEO of i-EM, joined the roundtable dedicated to strategies for the sustainable growth of renewable energy, presenting the company’s vision for a digital and inclusive energy transition.

Digitalization as a Cultural Shift

In his remarks, Dr. Lanzetta emphasized that i-EM’s mission goes beyond process optimization or cost reduction. The company invests in digital tools – dashboards and interactive platforms – that help operators, public administrations, and local communities understand and manage the dynamics of energy production, distribution, and consumption.

“Our solutions foster awareness,” he explained. “They help users interpret data, recognize their impact, and understand the value that comes from optimal energy management.”

For i-EM, the energy transition is a collective process in which all stakeholders can actively participate and benefit — from cost savings for citizens to enhanced competitiveness for businesses and greater resilience for the energy system.

Collaboration for a Shared Transition

The event, moderated by Frediano Finucci, Chief Editor of TG La7, gathered leading voices from the energy sector and institutions. Opening remarks were delivered by Marco Carta (AGICI CEO), followed by the presentation of the 2025 Renewables Observatory Annual Report by Anna Pupino

“Putting technology and expertise at the service of the transition fills us with pride,” concluded Dr. Lanzetta. “Only in this way does installed capacity become real value.”
